What are the different ways to connect a MWD system to a RSS?
Each type of rotary steerable system requires a proprietary connection to an MWD tool. Orbit and NeoSteer use BabelFish to enable connectivity between it and a ProDirectional MWD tool. D-Tech requires a hard-link between it and a ProDirectional MWD tool, which offers better reliability.
