Karen Chandler
Chief Operating Officer, Retired, Laredo Petroleum
Karen Chandler is an independent director on ProDirectional’s Board of Directors. Karen has more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, she was Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for Laredo Petroleum, an independent producer focused in the Permian Basin. Prior to joining Laredo in 2012, Karen spent 15 years at ExxonMobil working in a variety of management and technical roles in the areas of drilling,
completions and technology development. These roles included drilling operations in the Colorado Piceance Basin, Australia Bass Strait and Papua New Guinea.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
