Our CEO, Mark Freeman, participated on the Digitization and HSE Panel at OTC last week.
He pointed out an interesting shift in the safety culture of the oil and gas industry where we now recognize that safety is a shared responsibility for everyone, and not just “the safety person’s job”.
Mark also touched on the topic of automation and how remote ops has positively impacted safety in drilling applications.
When your field staff can spend less time on paperwork and reporting, they can be less rushed and have more time to spend on the mission critical tasks associated with drilling great wells.
