STEVE BREWER

Steve Brewer leads the finance and accounting, IT, risk management, and HSE functions at ProDirectional.

Over his 40+ years of experience, Steve has held senior positions at businesses ranging from billion-dollar profit-and-loss centers to mid-size PE backed companies. He spent most of his career at General Electric, where he worked in Lighting, Information Services, Energy Products and Services, and Aircraft Engines.

After initial assignments in two GE Power businesses, Steve joined the Corporate Audit Staff and then took the lead finance role in GE Lighting Sales before obtaining his first executive role in the GE Lighting Wiring Device business. He subsequently moved to Aircraft Engines, providing financial leadership to the sourcing and inventory management divisions which was followed by a role in GE information Services as finance leader for the Americas. He then returned to the Energy group as CFO of Aero Energy Services and was next appointed CFO of Aero Energy Products.

Desiring a change, Steve moved into the private equity space serving as CFO of Hudson Products, a world leader in air cooled heat exchangers and coaxial fans, followed by his current role at ProDirectional.

Steve has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He also completed the GE Financial Management Program and attended multiple courses at GE’s Crotonville Management Development Institute. He and his wife live in Cleveland, Texas.
